Welcome to TEN - Thailand Educators Network

Thailand Educators Network (TEN) provides a forum for educators in Thailand to meet on a regular basis in a comfortable environment to share teaching and living experiences with colleagues and peers.

Our primary goal is to bring fellow educators in Thailand together to learn from the varied experiences that reflect our teaching experiences in Thailand.

We welcome any educator, Thai, Western or anyone from around the region, from kindergartens and day care centers, Thai, bilingual and international primary and secondary schools; language schools or institutes; colleges and universities and private sector training enterprises.

As part of the Networking for Success (NSF) family of networking groups (Bangkok Young Professionals, Success Development Group, Doug Hood Golf Network, Creative Ministry, Bangkok Sales Network, Bangkok Property Network), TEN members are entitled to discounts at over 350 restaurants, services and stores in Metropolitan Bangkok.

Thailand Educators Network is proud to support Operation Smile. Operation Smile

Our Saturday, 10 January 2009 Networking Night will be great... Come and learn more about...

Teaching with video – teaching students how to teach themselves…

To start the year off with something completely different, Thailand Educators Network (TEN) has invited Doug Hood to share his experience in using video to help students learn to play better golf.

Of interest to a wide range of educators, Doug’s talk will appeal to anyone looking to incorporate video technology into their lesson plans, curriculum or school program.

Doug Hood has been teaching golf for 30 years – over 40,000 lessons – and has been incorporating video into his lessons for over 15 years.

Although he was initially skeptical, after experiencing the value of watching a video replay with the student watching side-by-side, and the ability to accomplish a before and after visual proof of improvements and the ‘Added Value’ of keeping a student progress library, today, Doug would be lost without the benefits video brings to his lessons!

Remember the old saying: “a picture is worth a thousand words”.

The evening starts at 18.00, Doug's talk at 18.45.

Only 350 Baht for non-members and 250 Baht for members, the evening should be both informative and enjoyable.
